Many of my friends have asked me how to spot promising new coins. Here’s a brief guide I gave them and wanted to share it also with you:
Check new coins on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to save on fees. Invest a max of $50 in each coin for the first 1-2 months. Keep a small reserve, be prepared to lose it.
Finding Coins
Use BscScan, look for new coins with grey icons. Investigate coins with these criteria: Holders Major holders should be liquidity pools and “dead” wallets. Beware of too many large holders. A healthy new coin has 200-300 holders. Liquidity Pool Look for pools with over $30k. Ensure liquidity is locked for a substantial period. Volume Skip coins with very few holders or low activity. Aim for 5-10 transactions per minute. Online Presence Verify a website and Twitter account. More social presence is a plus. Coin Name & Design Attractive design and catchy name matter. Bonus: Team Transparency A team that reveals themselves is a positive sign.
If a coin fails in the first 5 steps, avoid it. If it passes, research more. Stick to the $50 rule initially and learn from mistakes. After 1-2 months, you can consider higher investments.
Remember:
Be patient; early coins take time. Monitor the team’s activity; regular updates are good.
Following these rules can help you spot crypto gems while minimizing risks. Happy investing!
And if you got more tips, I’ll be more than happy to discuss it with you
