YouTube adds 3-15 unskippable Ads! Are there any thoughts on a crypto based solution with a better fee model for paying creators and infrastructure?

As Google/YouTube adds more and more ads it becomes close to impossible, at least for me, to watch YT on my apple IPhone mobile device as there is no option for an adblocker.
It seems to me that there are some options for listening to music like Audius, or for books like Booktoken etc. within the crypto space. There are many platforms coming, are in development or working already with different use cases. What is the future for YT competitors within the crypto space? Are there any tokens/platforms out there?
It seems very quite around video platforms, are there reasons for this? As YT has not really changed in its core functionalities I was wondering why there seems to be no real competition?
