How Crypto.com Scammed me

long story short, I was buying a Ledger on Ledger’s website and I decided to pay using crypto.
the only 2 options for crypto payment are bitmart (requires heavy KYC) or Crypto.com Pay.
I chose crypto.com Pay > selected Metamask as wallet > sent ~ 80 USDC.
the tx was confirmed on the blockchain but crypto.com never confirmed it, so after half an hour I receive a “refund claim” email from them, where I could take back my 80$. And here it comes the scumbags part. The Refund is 80$ – 25$ as per TRANSACTION COSTS, while ETH tx cost right now is no more than 5$.
So in the end I’m here paying with my normal debit card for a cold wallet, having lost 25$ to shitty business practices. I hope that my 25$ can help pay Matt Damon.
