There is nothing wrong with paying taxes on your crypto gains if you live in a country where you feel the government is using these taxes to help the needy and improve living conditions.

I see it too often here that people aren’t so happy with paying capital gains taxes on their crypto, which is worrying because at the end of the day we want everyone to benefit from major crypto adoption, even those who aren’t able to directly benefit hence why taxes are important.

The benefits of crypto go far beyond just having it replace Fiat to a degree, there can be dozens of unforeseen benefits even for people who aren’t using crypto and taxes are one of those.

We’ll end up being like the billionaires we criticise so much for tax avoidance of we ourselves do the same.

Taxes aren’t inherently bad and we need to acknowledge that.

Many of us also live in countries where the government really does try and improve the lives of the less fortunate and we can support that through taxes.
